Frequently Asked Questions

What Kind Of Meat Cuts Are Usually Included In A Meat Tray?

Common meat trays will usually include at least a couple of different types of meats with cuts from lamb, pork, chicken and beef. Sausages and rissoles are also often included.

Are Bacon And Ham The Same?

No, ham comes from the leg of the pig and is cooked so it can be eating as is. Bacon comes from the belly and collar of the pig, even though it is cured, it’s not cooked so needs to be cooked before eating.

How Should I Store My Meat Tray?

Meat trays must be frozen immediately to prolongthe shelf life, especially if you’re not planning on cooking the entire contents soon. Frozen meats usually last for up to 14 days if left in the freezer.
